I love listening to podcasts!  I listen to them all the time while I am driving, cleaning, farming, basically anytime I can! There are so many informative podcasts sharing such great information and as a life-long learner I am so appreciative of this free resource.  Filtering through all of the podcasts to find the gems can be quite the task so I thought I would share some of my faves with you.  I am sure there are many more that I haven’t even discovered yet!  Please share your faves 🙂

Herb Podcasts

Real Herbalism Radio– I have been listening to this podcast for a few years now.  They share  practical information and have great guests.

Real Herbalism Radio is the weekly podcast created by The Practical Herbalist team to dish up the saucy bits of the herb world in a format that’s easy to listen to on the go or relaxing at home. Your hosts, Sue and Candace, offer you their insights into the world of herbs along with a variety of easy, practical ideas for making herbalism a part of your daily life. They’ll help you understand some of the complex and often perplexing aspects of herbalism, decode the language of herbalists, and give you the tools you’ll need to make sound, practical choices for yourself and your family regarding herbal care. They’ll take time, too, to examine the latest herbal news topics so you can feel informed as you encounter the places where herbs and herbalism have hit the mainstream media.

The Plant Path- This podcast is relatively new but so far the information shared is impressive!  It is hosted by Sajah & Whitney Popham, founders of The School of Evolutionary Herbalism. Herbalist, Spagyricist, Medical Astrologer.

The Plant Path is a window into the world of the herbal medicine. With perspectives gleaned from traditional western herbalism, Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Alchemy, Medical Astrology, and traditional cultures from around the world, The Plant Path provides unique insights, skills and strategies for the practice of true holistic herbalism. From clinical to spiritual perspectives, we don’t just focus on what herbs are “good for,” but rather who they are as intelligent beings, and how we can work with them to heal and consciously evolve.

Medicine Stories- This podcast is new with only 12 episodes so far.  It is hosted by herbalist Amber Magnolia Hill.  So far I am enjoying the guests and topics.

Her goal with the podcast is to encourage people to pay attention to what stirs their soul through nature, ancestry, dreams, consciousness-expanding experiences and substances, trauma and loss, and healing in all its many forms. She interviews herbalists, story keepers, ancestral listeners, consciousness explorers, earth dreamers, and other wise folk in an effort to explore the mythic journeys people undertake when coming to know themselves.
